Great chips, battered? Crispy and tasty. The scallops were big, and fishes are fresh and juicy. Much better food option than others which we've tried. Will eat there when I am there next.
I have been going to this fish and chipery since i was a little girl and yesterday I am sorry to say it was absolutely disgusting. They don't list their flake on the menu, its labelled inside a fridge full of other fish. The lunch packs are overpriced for what you get given. I got a flake which was the whole reason for my visiting and they didn't give me gummy shark, instead i got another fish which had a disgusting taste to it. The lady sitting next to us was the first one to exclaim that it was gross and she wasn't going back. I payed $13 for seagull food. When i spoke to someone inside they said they were out of 'flake' and instead of telling the customers they substituted the fish with another. I won't come back again, neither that old lady. Looks like the place across the road is getting our business from now on. Piss poor.
Yum yum! Stopped on the way home and ordered the seafood box for 1. Chips ere to die for. So crispy! Fish was thick and covered in crispy batter with no excess oil. Two members of the local constabulary also ordered dinner so I knew I was in the right place. Will go back.
Service was good even with a a busy shop and the burger with the lot and chips was super tasty
Great fish and chips. There are seats along the nearby Rooted in creek which is a nice place to eat. Chips, grilled fish and scallops are excellent. Phone orders taken.
